Plexiglass windows for durability
Our doors are equipped with plexiglass windows, which offer numerous advantages compared to traditional glass. Plexiglass is lighter, stronger, and less fragile than ordinary glass, which minimizes the risk of damage during transport and installation. Furthermore, plexiglass is better resistant to weather influences such as frost, rain, and sunlight. This means that the windows of your door remain looking good for longer and are easier to maintain.
Points of attention for installation
- Doors must be checked for damage within 24 hours of delivery. Damage cases or warping are no longer covered by warranty after 24 hours.
- The doors are supplied without a manual.
- Important: The plexiglass is supplied with protective pink film; this must be removed after installation.
- Warping: A natural property of spruce wood is that it can warp. To prevent rapid warping, the advice is to treat the wood all around with paint or stain as soon as possible after delivery (and before assembly). If you are not going to install the doors immediately, always store them completely flat on a level surface.
- Lock: The included lock is universal for both left and right-hand opening doors. The latch can be pulled out by hand or with a flat-head screwdriver and rotated 180 degrees.
- Hardware must be adjusted to the thickness of the door.
